Agile or waterfall – some pros and cons from USiX perspective

Is there a room for agile methods in user interaction (USiX) projects? Can an iterative process be adopted without irritating designers? Coming up with usable and cool-looking user interfaces is a highly creative tasks which should not be tampered with. Still, there must be an alternative to plain waterfall process.

In this blog entry, Santtu Toivonen discusses some benefits and drawbacks of waterfall and agile methods, in particular from the USiX perspective.
