Change is a possibility

FinnMedia (Viestinnän Keskusliitto, the federation of the Finnish media industry in Finland) is organizing a strategy seminar “Change is a possibility” on June 2nd in Helsinki. The seminar will present insights into consumer behaviour and advertiser needs in emerging digital world.

The strong role of the consumer in the digital environment is rapidly changing business practices and the media domain. The economical crisis accelerates the change. After the financial downturn ends, the media industry will not come out the same as it was before. Structural change will give opportunity to new innovation companies. Now, it is time to debate what products and services will succeed in the future.

As a follow-up on the cooperation between FinnMedia and Idean, Mikko-Pekka Hanski from Idean will discuss the change factors and future scenarios in the media industry.
