Mr. Ossi Pohjola
Chairman of the Management Team
Mr. Pohjola has nearly 30 years of experience from international IT industry management positions. His previous merits include establishing and leading the Finnish operations at Andersen Consulting (currently Accenture) and Oracle, where he acted as the manager for consulting services in Europe, Middle East and Africa, as well as a member of the management team for the EMEA area operations. In addition to Idean, Mr. Pohjola holds positions of trust in the boards of several companies.
Ms. Kaija Pöysti
Member of BoD
Developing service business, globalization strategies and insights into making next big things with diverse competence teams are important topics in planning the future of Idean. Kaija Pöysti has a respected track record in areas which link into Idean vision and future. Kaija brings over 25 years of successful entrepreneurial experience. She has has acted as a partner of Blue White Venture since 2001. Previously, she worked as CEO and later President of Trantex Oy, which she founded, from 1983 to 1997, and grew it from a one-person company to over 200 employees and sales of over $10 million. From 1997 to 2001, she worked as a consulting group leader, first in Germany and then in the United States, for L&H Mendez (now Lionbridge), which acquired Trantex Oy. Kaija Pöysti has served in the boards of several organizations. Currently she is a Board member in Suomen Terveystalo Oyj and the Finnish Industry Investment Ltd.
Mr. Jan Sasse
Member of BoD
High speed growth of digital services consultation and design, internationalization and business structure development enable Idean to become the leading service design company. Jan Sasse has a strong and unique experience and track record in all those areas. Before joining publicly listed investment company Norvestia as Executive Advisor, he led leading European online digital agency Satama Interactive through rough years, and rebuilt the company of more than 350 employees. His has also held senior positions in international management consultancies and worked with mergers & acquisitions.
Mikko-Pekka Hanski
Chief Evangelist, Co-founder
Mr. Hanski is a true pioneer in the field of mobile usability and gaming. For over 10 years with mobile service and application design, Mr. Hanski has led hundreds of research and design projects for world’s leading mobile device, game, entertainment and carrier companies. With exceptional talent in understanding cultures, social networks, behaviour and people, Mr. Hanski is well known speaker and story-teller in the global usability field. He also has the wonderful ability of looking things from a fresh new perspective and making complex issues simple.
Risto Lähdesmäki
Chairman of BoD, Chief Innovation Officer, Co-founder
For last 10 years Mr. Lähdesmäki has been living through the development of Idean and the evolving digital industry around user experience, user interface design, internet-driven digital services and innovation. A creative and passionate person by heart, Mr. Lähdesmäki has an innovative and intuitive approach to discover and design new services and product concepts for the digital domain through over 300 completed international projects. As a senior industry expert of the Board, Mr. Lähdesmäki looks for new possibilities through the benefits of user research, design and innovation by combining these as one seamless process.

Päivi Pesonen
Deputy Managing Director, CFO
Ms. Pesonen is a financial management professional with strong background in developing tools and processes for financial administration. With background from a variety of different business domains, Ms. Pesonen is experienced in participating in international company management and acting as a team leader.
Marko Vänskä
VP Business Development, General Manager APAC Region
Mr Vänskä has an extensive career in the international telecommunications business field. After setting up the Asian operations for the Nokia Ventures Organization, Marko Vänskä now leads the APAC area business development at Idean. With hands-on experience in several technology areas and business domains (such as R&D, service development and business venturing), Mr. Vänskä’s greatest strength is the ability to create new business with an innovative and captivating drive.
Jussi Lystimäki
VP Sales and Marketing
Jussi has a successful history in the development, sales and implementation of international projects with Internet and Telecom services for more than ten years. A founding member of Satama Group (formerly Satama Interactive), Lystimäki’s previous positions include Co-founder and Country Manager of Tera Group, an 100+ million euros valued ICT investment company listed in London, and CEO of Prisma Consulting.
Marjo Lampila
Director, User Experience
With 20 years of experience focusing in user experience and product development in the telecommunications industry, Ms. Lampila now leads the user eperience activities at Idean. After various posts at Nokia and TeliaSonera, Ms. Lampila is extremely skilled in product development planning and management as well as leading teams of various specialists. As a great source of experience and expertise, Marjo Lampila is highly valued member of the Idean team that gets the job done.
Jesse Maula
Director, Design
With long term practical experience in User Experience research and User Interface design, Mr Maula leads the Design competence area at Idean. Mr Maula actively participates in company management as well as leading demanding product concepting projects. As a true people person, Jesse Maula is a highly valued leader who always strives to keep the schedules, costs and quality as agreed.
Jutta Nyblom
Head of Enterprise Solutions Business Unit
Ms. Nyblom leads the Enterprise Solutions unit at Idean, providing services to leading companies in the B2B and industrial sector. Experienced in various industry domains, such as machine and mobile manufacturers, service and software as well as paper and process, Ms. Nyblom was responsible for the initial start-up of Idean business in China. Ambitious to create mutually beneficial long-term business, Ms. Nyblom is a natural organizer that is not afraid to take the initiative to create something new.
