Mr. Ossi Pohjola
Member of BoD
Mr. Pohjola has nearly 30 years of experience from international IT industry management positions. His previous merits include establishing and leading the Finnish operations at Andersen Consulting (currently Accenture) and Oracle, where he acted as the manager for consulting services in Europe, Middle East and Africa, as well as a member of the management team for the EMEA area operations. In addition to Idean, Mr. Pohjola holds positions of trust in the boards of several companies.
Ms. Kaija Pöysti
Member of BoD
Developing service business, globalization strategies and insights into making next big things with diverse competence teams are important topics in planning the future of Idean. Kaija Pöysti has a respected track record in areas which link into Idean vision and future. Kaija brings over 30 years of successful entrepreneurial experience. She founded her first company, Trantex Oy, in 1983 and grew it from a one-person company to over 250 employees and sales of over $10 million. After selling the company in 1997, she moved first to Germany and then to the United States, where she lived for 8 years. She is a business angel and a board member (past and present board memberships include YLE, Suomen Terveystalo, Teollisuussijoitus, VTT Ventures, Söderströms, Edukustannus and Sovelto). She also does consulting on how to improve operational efficiency through collaborative tools and methods.
Tarja Pääkkönen

Tarja Pääkkönen, Ph.D. (Corporate Strategies), M.Sc. (Construction) is Partner and a board member of BOARDMAN. She is also founder and chairman of the board of SUNDUKA, a board member of Panostaja/Flexim, OLVI, Spinverse, HYY Group and previously Marimekko and Severa.
in 2004 – 2010 she worked as Senior Vice President, Corporate Sales & Marketing, and a member of the Executive Board of Itella Corporation In her role she was responsible for sales and leading 2000 persons team with 1,4 BN € sales responsibility. She was also one of the chief architects of Itella Brand change across 15 European countries and Russia, recognised globally among industry players.
During 1995 – 2004 Pääkkönen also held several executive positions at Nokia. As the Senior Vice President she led global mobile business and R&D units, including operations in North America, Asia, Europe and Japan. In 2002-2003 she was also a member of Nokia Mobile Phones Management Board and Nokia Venture Board.
During 2003 – 2005 she was a member of Council of Information Society, Prime Minister´s Office in Finland. She holds several patents and patent applications. In 2007 she was rewarded as the Marketing Executive of the year.
Mikko-Pekka Hanski

Mr. Hanski is a true pioneer in the field of mobile usability and gaming. For over 10 years with mobile service and application design, Mr. Hanski has led hundreds of research and design projects for world’s leading mobile device, game, entertainment and carrier companies. With exceptional talent in understanding cultures, social networks, behaviour and people, Mr. Hanski is well known speaker and story-teller in the global usability field. He also has the wonderful ability of looking things from a fresh new perspective and making complex issues simple.
Risto Lähdesmäki
Chairman of BoD, Chief Innovation Officer, Co-founder
For last 10 years Mr. Lähdesmäki has been living through the development of Idean and the evolving digital industry around user experience, user interface design, internet-driven digital services and innovation. A creative and passionate person by heart, Mr. Lähdesmäki has an innovative and intuitive approach to discover and design new services and product concepts for the digital domain through over 300 completed international projects. As a senior industry expert of the Board, Mr. Lähdesmäki looks for new possibilities through the benefits of user research, design and innovation by combining these as one seamless process.

Mr. Maula has long term practical experience in managing User Experience research and User Interface design teams. Among managing Idean’s daily life Mr Maula actively participates in leading demanding product concepting projects. As a true people person, Jesse Maula is a highly valued leader who always strives to keep the schedules, costs and quality as agreed.
Lasse Voipio
CFO
Mr. Voipio is a financial management professional with strong background in developing tools and processes for financial administration. With background from a variety of different business domains, Mr. Voipio is experienced in participating in international company management.

Marjo Lampila
VP
With 20 years of experience focusing in user experience and product development in the telecommunications industry, Ms. Lampila now leads the user eperience activities at Idean. After various posts at Nokia and TeliaSonera, Ms. Lampila is extremely skilled in product development planning and management as well as leading teams of various specialists. As a great source of experience and expertise, Marjo Lampila is highly valued member of the Idean team that gets the job done.
Mika Käki
Senior Interaction Designer
A unique combination of research and design, theory and practice is formed by a PhD degree in Interactive Technology and a degree in arts and grafts (vehicle restoration). Over 10 years of experience from the user experience field from academia and industry creates a firm background to lead large scale industrial UX solution projects with hands-on approach. For Mr. Käki both user research and interaction design are part of everyday work. The ambition in high quality UX and user interface design combined with deep understanding of graphical user interface development pushes the boundaries of technical limitations to deliver cutting edge solutions.
Jutta Nyblom
Industrial Solutions
Ms. Nyblom leads the Industrial Solutions unit at Idean, providing services to leading companies in the B2B and industrial sector. Experienced in various industry domains, such as machine and mobile manufacturers, service and software as well as paper and process, Ms. Nyblom was responsible for the initial start-up of Idean business in China. Ambitious to create mutually beneficial long-term business, Ms. Nyblom is a natural organizer that is not afraid to take the initiative to create something new.
