Idean has agreed on cooperation with Crisis Management Initiative (CMI) for a development project in Liberia. The goal of the project is to study innovative ways to utilize mobile technology for developing local governance processes. The project will start with a field mission in early April, 2009, and provide first results of the research in May.

Crisis Management Initiative is an independent, non-profit organisation that promotes and works for sustainable security. CMI’s strategy is to bring together actors to seek solutions to security challenges, to engage in capacity building among the international community in conflict prevention, resolution and transformation and to advocate security solutions.
