Idean re-organizes company management

In order to ensure the smooth execution of the company global growth strategy, Idean re-organizes the top-level company management.
Idean, the expert organization for user-centric concept and service development, has been acknowledged as one of the most interesting growth companies in Finland. Idean increased the annual net sales from 2006 to 2007 with over 80 per cent, totaling nearly 5 million euro. Despite aggressive growth in personnel and net sales, Idean financial result remained positive. Idean was nominated as one of the 10 most interesting growth companies in Finland by Helsingin Sanomat, the leading Finnish newspaper.
The rapidly growing global markets and the desire to maintain an aggressive growth curve have set Idean to a new development track. Typical to a growth company, ensuring the successful growth requires constant monitoring of the company focus and development of the company management. Now, Idean has successfully completed a set of strategically crucial changes in the company management in order to ensure the smooth execution of the existing strategy.
Mr. Ossi Pohjola has been nominated as the chairman of the Idean management team. Mr. Pohjola has previously acted as a member of the Idean Board of Directors and has nearly 30 years of experience from international management positions. Mr. Pohjola’s track record includes founding and directing the Andersen Consulting operations in Finland and a long-term position at Oracle, where he lead the consulting operations for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, as well as a member of the board of directors for the EMEA region.
Ms. Päivi Pesonen has been nominated as the deputy managing director of Idean. With strong background in financial management, Ms. Pesonen has previously acted as the Financial Director for Dynamo Advertising Ltd. and as an auditor at Arthur Andersen.
Concurrently, Mr. Jan-Erik Nyrövaara steps down from the position of Idean CEO and moves to head and develop the company legal department. Idean begins the process of nominating a new Chief Executive Officer by the end of 2008.
All of the changes take affect immediately.
