China is hot

Idean estimates that the blooming Chinese markets have reached a level of maturity where true innovations on digital products and services are being born. To turn this innovative force into successful business, companies must be able to understand the cultural playground – both in the present and in the future.

Says Jan-Erik Nyrövaara, Idean CEO: “We call it Cultural User Experience; analyzing the current needs and trends and building on this information to create the killer products of tomorrow. Our goal is to be the most desired and value adding innovation partner for our clients, operating both in China and globally.”

“We see a trend of China becoming a source of original design. The upcoming launch of the Idean Design Academy is bringing Idean a position to be in the pulse of this development”, says Marko Vänskä, the new VP of Business Development and GM of APAC region.

Innovating new business

Marko Vänskä joins Idean to further develop the company’s operations in the region. He originally moved to Shanghai in 2003 to set up the Asian operations for the Nokia Ventures Organization.

“I am exited to be on the edge of the latest technology and business development. My passion is in constant innovation: identifying the opportunities and finding the right partners to exploit them”, says Marko Vänskä. “I see product usability and user experience as key competitive factors today. Idean provides companies with services that create the difference. “

Marko Vänskä has over 18 years of experience from the telecom business. He has hands-on experience in both technology areas and different business domains, such as R&D, customer service development and business venturing.

Core team of professionals

“With Marko on board, Idean now has a dream team of professionals to execute our strategic targets in the APAC region. Idean benefits greatly from the huge amount of acquired experience and a network of contacts. I could not be more exited”, says Jan-Erik Nyrövaara, Idean CEO.
