Senior Service Designer


Do you like to rethink and design meaningful services and business models that have real impact in people’s lives?

We’re looking for an experienced Service Designer to strengthen our team in Idean Oslo. You will join our team of talented designers, facilitators and technologists in creating services, transforming organisations and designing valuable experiences in a diverse range of projects.

You’re a design thinker and doer, and we expect you to have sufficient experience with human centred design methods to take on a senior role in our team. You should be able to lead, guide and mentor junior and mid-level designers, making sure that we as a professional design studio meet our clients’ expectations and deliver value in our projects.

We always design in a real life context. That means real users, real stakeholders and real clients. Establishing and maintaining relationships to all of these people is a necessity to make an impact and create change. You need to be able to support in all the steps of a client relationship: from sales and project planning, through to project execution and the design process itself. Getting out of the studio to spend time with our clients is something we appreciate, even though we also love working in our cosy studio with our likeminded.

Visualisation and communication skills is a prerequisite for what we do, so you’re not intimidated by performing interviews, facilitating workshops and drawing on a whiteboard. You should posses a natural ability to articulate the criteria of good service design and offer constructive feedback to colleagues.
